The Red Lion Templin's Hotel on the River-Post Falls, it's Team Red members and the VFW Post 889 Women's Auxiliary will be joining forces to hand out birthday balloons and cards to residents of the Pinewood Adult Care Center. Project Handup
Second Harvest's Project Handup serves close to 400 clients referred from collaborating job training or life skills programs. These clients are eligible for the monthly food distribution if they meet the requirements of their self-sufficiency program. Volunteers are needed to stock tables with produce and product, sign-in clients at the door and help clients to their cars with their carts of food. Two shifts are available: 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, and 11:00 am to 2 pm.
